I have a memory of seeing this movie on TV when it originally aired, and at the time, I really enjoyed it. Although my current reaction isn’t quite as strong, it remains an inventive science fiction story concerning extraterrestrials facing their own risk of annihilation. They journey to Earth to gather a group of scientists with the goal of preserving their world from a destructive force. Jeff Morrow portrays "Exeter," who has a somewhat pointed head, and he's responsible for bringing in Rex Reason ("Meacham") and Faith Domergue ("Adams"). It stands out as one of the initial 1950s films I encountered in color, which does highlight how old-fashioned the special effects appear—possibly due to an excess of latex. Still, it’s worthwhile viewing.
