It feels familiar, as if I’d already witnessed this film, though details escape me, which is telling in itself. There are some appealing aspects, though; the visual appearance of the ghosts, when they're noticeable, possesses a resemblance to the aesthetic of *Hellraiser*, and that's generally a positive thing. Having Tony Shalhoub as the central figure is also welcome, even if I didn’t find myself convinced by the portrayal of the family relationships. The film carries characteristics typical of movies from its time, evident in the direction and camera work, along with appearances from Shannon Elizabeth (known for *American Pie*) and Matthew Lillard (*Scream*). The final plot development was baffling, to be frank. Nevertheless, I wasn’t bored, and truthfully, if anyone else recalled this movie, the setting would lend itself well to a themed attraction—perhaps incorporating special eyewear to view the supernatural beings—at something like Universal's Horror Nights or similar event. **2.75/5**
