It's not easy to pull off a time loop story well. What works here is that the film keeps things contained and focused, avoiding pitfalls that might have arisen with a larger-scale production. A sense of genuine suspense prevails because the guidelines governing the loops aren’t obvious—at least, not to those within the narrative. The characters are also quite well done. It isn't flawless, but it manages to be more than satisfactory.
