It’s enjoyable enough to watch again, and I can certainly suggest it to others. To be upfront, I wasn’t fully alert when viewing it, yet I still found myself entertained. This is a solid film that had the potential to be truly exceptional; however, I believe its central idea ultimately detracts from its narrative. The filmmakers incorporated some inventive elements that made it challenging to avoid revealing key plot points. Giving the lead character flaws doesn’t inherently make her more likable. While this might resonate with certain viewers and contribute to a sense of realism—since many of her traits stem from an unfortunate relationship—it doesn't significantly advance the plot. The film really takes off once the story, setting, and characters begin to develop. There appears to be a growing tendency in filmmaking that this movie participates in, where one narrative concludes and another begins. It’s not exactly like having a fourth act or two separate three-act structures; it feels akin to including a brief sequel within the same film. It earns considerable praise for being captivating and featuring strong performances, but overall, it falls short of being considered truly "great."
