While the narrative may be wanting, the film compensates with impressive visuals and a sense of grandeur. The actors were appropriately chosen, the action sequences are intentionally exaggerated, and the direction is consistently good. The connection between the lead characters feels somewhat tangled and difficult to connect with emotionally; however, the movie functions perfectly well even though that aspect isn’t fully developed. The final scene is suitably wild. It's an enjoyable experience, although not necessarily a deeply meaningful one.
