It was totally crazy, and I mean that both positively and negatively. Picture something like Ready or Not mixed with Kill Bill and Looney Tunes, alongside bits and pieces of many other movies. The film is messy, and it doesn't always work perfectly, but it’s never boring. The promotional material does a good job of concealing an important detail I really didn’t anticipate. That unexpected twist also explains the “mixed results.” I won’t say what it is, but while it contributes to a darkly humorous tone amidst all the violence, it occasionally holds the movie back, particularly in a finale that's so extreme it will probably divide viewers. The acting and special effects are somewhat inconsistent, but the action sequences are where the film truly excels. The action set pieces are original, quick, and joyfully over-the-top, with the violence cranked up to absurd levels. I think this is a movie that could be even better after watching it again, now that you have an idea of what to expect. For the time being, it's an enjoyable, chaotic experience – 7/10 for now.
