It’s a heartwarming and unassuming movie centered on a blind boy (Ghilherme Lobo). While at school, he connects with a fellow student (Fabio Audi) who assists him as he strives to become more self-sufficient, distancing himself from his well-meaning but overly protective parents, his close girlfriend "Giovana" (Tess Amorim), and the everyday challenges presented by his lack of sight. A romance develops between them, transforming the narrative into an exploration of self-discovery and self-assurance. The storyline is predictable; however, the acting is solid and believable, and the conversations feel natural. The soundtrack also incorporates a notable amount of music from Belle & Sebastian.
