This movie, "The Union," really highlights what’s disappointing about so many Netflix movies—it’s just a forgettable film that doesn't succeed in being anything special. The story follows a well-worn path, and it doesn't offer anything new; there are clichés everywhere, and the characters feel underdeveloped. It simply can’t distinguish itself from all the other films like it out there. Although some of the music and acting have moments that suggest something better, they don’t manage to lift the movie above being average. Ultimately, seeing it won't stick with you for very long.
