Honestly, enough with these kinds of movies. The character Bricklayer is the epitome of a working-class hero; he surpasses even the Beekeeper in appeal. I’d argue that the union probably wouldn’t need someone like Painter, but he would still be preferable to Wahlberg. Essentially, ordinary people are rallying behind wealthy individuals who put on an act of being down-to-earth. There's constant action, followed by betrayal, more action, and then a victory. It’s watchable, I suppose, but it doesn’t really matter and there isn’t anything particularly funny about it.
