It's undeniably pleasant and gentle, yet this first film from **Kiarostami** feels like a less impactful echo of some of his better-known works, particularly _Where is the Friend’s House_. The pacing is deliberate, though the anticipation of reaching Tehran for the national soccer game does create a certain pull, making it interesting to follow the character's journey. However, that journey and its destination ultimately constitute the film's primary offering, concluding in a somewhat unsatisfying manner. It could be argued that this serves as another method of conveying a message about childhood morality and the futility of misbehavior; still, I would have liked to witness what happened afterward and how his choices played out.
