The Transporter Refueled is quite enjoyable whenever driving sequences are featured; otherwise, it falls short. The fight choreography feels lifeless, and the narrative is thin and presented in a tedious manner. A significant drawback is that Ed Skrein isn't Jason Statham. Statham’s portrayal of Frank Martin in the earlier films was so definitive that this reboot perhaps arrived too soon for audiences to readily accept a new actor in the role. Fortunately, there's one positive aspect beyond the car action scenes: Ray Stevenson as Frank’s father delivers a solid performance and contributes some entertaining moments. Ultimately, The Transporter Refueled isn't worth watching; it's sufficient to have seen the first two films. I am now curious to see if the television series will alter my perspective on this.
