The premise involves two criminal groups uniting to pull off a robbery. It seemed promising initially, though the movie felt drawn out. Coming from the filmmaker behind 'Woochi' and 'Assassination', I was eager to see it since I enjoyed both of those films. This is an international production featuring several recognizable Korean and Hong Kong performers. The plot centers on two groups of thieves collaborating to steal a diamond necklace from a casino in Macau. It’s presented as a collaborative effort, with each member having a specific task; however, past events lead to mistrust among them. What follows involves deception, the unfolding of the heist itself, and the fates of those involved, primarily revealed toward the end. The acting was decent, but the characters felt familiar. The narrative appeared more engaging, although the first portion dragged considerably. Things became more captivating once they started working together, particularly with the action sequences. While I thought it could have been stronger, a tighter script would have helped. With so many people involved, there were an abundance of plot turns; at times, everything felt rushed and disjointed. A truly memorable theme was lacking, which would have elevated things considerably. I’ve seen more impressive heist movies, and I suspect you have too, so this one probably won't be a revelation, but it’s acceptable for a single viewing. _6/10_
