Film Viewed By Me At **_NOVO CINEMAS_** Sharjah UAE, On August 16 ______________________________________________________ Normally, I try to organize my reviews with a standard structure: an introduction, then the main points, and finally a summary. This time, just for something different, I decided to write this review "backwards." So, without any more explanation, here's what I think 😉❗ FINAL ANALYSIS: I have to admit that as a parent, I had an issue with how much I enjoyed this “Bloodsoaked Adult Goof-fest.” It was definitely over the top. While it’s mostly filled with cartoonish violence intended for mature audiences (it has an M.P.A.A rating of "R"), the sheer amount of gore did surprise me, especially considering it's from the director best known for his relatively more mainstream Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbusters. HIGH POINTS: 1. “Peacemaker”: The clever and bold critique of long-standing imperialist tendencies, but even more importantly, the hypocrisy and double standards of past United States governments—symbolically, of course. 2. Simply put, everything Margot Robbie ("Harley Quinn") did was fantastic, with a special mention for her extended fight scene escaping from Colonel Rick Flag. Daniela Melchoir (“Ratcatcher-two”), this uniquely talented anti-heroine, along with Idris Elba's "Bloodsport," and others, brought an unexpected amount of heart to “The Suicide Squad.” **"A Conflicted, yet -Thoroughly- Entertained, 8.50 Marks Out Of 10 From Me";** mostly out of admiration for the funny and incredibly creative James Gunn. I obviously won't be letting my kids see this crazy, fun movie—{ However }- . . . but in this case, the reviewer in me has definitely outweighed my parental instincts 🤷‍♂️ 😂
