Someone appears on a beach, and using an air pump, constructs numerous inflatable items for a pleasant day out, including a tent, table, chair, and even a barbecue. He fabricates his own fish, then a fishing rod, and following dinner—complete with wine—he conjures up a companion. She isn't receptive to him, however, and when she departs with an equally inflated lifeguard toward a neighboring island, he has to chase after them and stop their romance. The eventual outcome is predictable, but despite the somewhat simple animation style, the progression leading up to it proves fairly amusing. It’s unusual and I think deserves about ten minutes of your time.
