This movie is just… something else. I’ve been sitting here for a few minutes after it ended and I honestly don't know what to say. It's not bad, not even close, but it’s also not exactly enjoyable. The whole thing feels like an exercise in style over substance; the visuals are stunning, no question about that, and the soundtrack is pretty great too. But the plot? Forget about it. There really isn't one. Or maybe there is, but I completely missed it. It’s all just a series of beautiful images strung together with some vague philosophical mumbling. I get the sense that the director was trying to say something profound, but whatever it was got lost in translation somewhere along the way. Still, I can't deny that it's impressive on a technical level. If you're into art films and don’t mind being confused for two hours, then give this one a shot. Otherwise, steer clear.
