_The Slammin’ Salmon_ isn't terrible, but it lacks the familiar, silly humor that characterizes most Broken Lizards productions. This time, the filmmakers went for crude and predictable jokes, almost none of which are successful. Even with welcome appearances from Michael Clarke Duncan, Lance Henriksen, Cobie Smulders, Will Forte, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, the movie doesn't rise above being simply passable. If you’re looking for something similar but superior, I suggest watching “_Waiting…_” from 2005 instead. _Final rating: ★★ - It had elements that resonated with me, yet it felt like a disappointing final result._
