Initially, I thought the narrative perspective was quite foolish. However, I later learned that the movie adapts a book penned by the actual protagonist—a young woman who received a diagnosis of a serious illness. (Be prepared for some emotional moments.) The film’s creation came from Shonali Bose, who also experienced the loss of her own daughter in adolescence. Ultimately, it's an uplifting and genuinely funny portrayal of life that feels very sincere. It seems to suggest that everyone deals with sorrow differently.
