'The Sky Is Everywhere' was something I genuinely liked. I’m unable to say anything about how it stacks up against the novel; considering it as a film on its own, however, I believe it is quite good. Grace Kaufman delivers an enjoyable performance, portraying a number of feelings within her character. The supporting cast also does well, including Jacques Colimon and Cherry Jones. It’s visually appealing too. It isn't flawless by any means; the scenes where everyone suddenly starts dancing haven't really clicked with me, even though it is generally an agreeable experience—and one that adds to its significance. See for yourself, but I feel it meets expectations easily. I would give it an 8/10.
