This was enjoyable! I won’t claim that it's revolutionary; in fact, it does rely on some rather simplistic stereotypes. A top swimmer (Nicolas Gob) makes insulting comments toward a gay journalist and is “ordered” to supervise the French gay water polo team as a form of retribution. The team proves to be exceptionally difficult – but with the occasional addition of swimming trunks, the movie follows his efforts to get them to the Gay Games in Croatia. It's an expected story, but entertaining nonetheless. Considering how often this type of film is filled with excessive political sensitivity and sexuality, it’s simply a lighthearted diversion. Check it out; you should find yourself laughing.
