The plot, another tale of an innocent individual imprisoned for a murder, seems to follow a well-worn path—it’s practically become standard fare in cinema with its focus on men wrongly convicted of killing their spouses. That's the central issue here. Frequently, the perpetrator is the husband, and just as often, the person behind bars isn't the actual guilty party. It’s concerning to think that juries are now susceptible to this repeated narrative pushed by Hollywood, potentially influencing their decisions. People aren't infallible; they possess a limited capacity for absorbing constant messaging. The story itself progresses at a slow pace and doesn't offer anything fresh or original. It adheres rigidly to a standard movie structure. I wouldn’t classify it as a "bad" film—those are the ones I score with 1 or 2 out of 10. However, this one earns a 3/10, which is my rating for movies that are dull, uninspired, and safe, lacking any real depth, and easily forgotten.
