The movie presents an unflinchingly straightforward depiction of racism and colonialism. While I respect Scorcese’s work, Killers of the Flower Moon felt like a softened, sanitized portrayal of exploitation when held up against what Felipe Gálvez Haberle and his collaborators achieved in Los Colonos. It's a compelling story, effectively conveyed. I also appreciated the choices made by cinematographer Simone D'Arcangelo; everything contributed to emphasizing the harsh reality of events.
