Sam Everingham and Alyla Browne play "Peter" and "Verity," siblings who move into an old house. A fall through the floor leads them to a fantastical realm where a pangolin in armor declares Peter their king, tasking him with solving riddles to unlock a clock that can stop “The Shroud,” a villain threatening everything good. The story isn’t groundbreaking—echoes of "Harry Potter," "Narnia," and "Golden Compass" are noticeable—but the performances from Everingham, Browne, along with their companions "Bling," a loyal character, and the two-headed tortoise named "Ego" and "Ergo," provide entertainment. The movie looks decent, and there’s no shortage of action sequences leading to an unsurprising conclusion. It's intended as family fare featuring dragons and villains, so deep analysis isn’t really necessary. If you enjoy films that transport you to magical places for a bit of fun, this will likely satisfy. It probably won't stick with you afterward, but I found it enjoyable for what it set out to be.
