I couldn’t get through this film; it became unbearable after about thirty minutes due to its truly awful script. The conversations between the character who resembles Sissy Spacek and the child she takes were simply dreadful. After that, some bizarre creature appeared, supposedly representing her sorrow. It's a strange concept, but the storytelling was just consistently bad with really poor decisions made throughout.
