Michael Lombardi portrays Bishop, a pastor in a small community who usually avoids conflict and advises others to do the same. This changes when his daughter becomes involved with a criminal connected to a car filled with drugs, stolen money, and an injured individual. When she tries to escape, she calls her father instead of the police. The rest of this disappointing revenge story centers on Bishop’s efforts to get even for his daughter. He seems to quickly adjust to violence, leading me to wonder that if he'd been in "Alien," those alien creatures wouldn't have survived very long. That really highlights the core issue: the plot is simply ridiculous. From the initial fight over a Christmas tree to the final scenes, everything feels foreseeable and unbelievable. The performances are on par with student films, as is the writing and directing. It’s hard to understand how this film even made it into theaters; that's a more interesting question than anything the story itself presents. I can’t recommend seeing it.
