I’ve watched this movie twice—once when it came out on DVD and again recently—and my initial impression of it as an espionage thriller remains fairly neutral; however, the ending still strikes me as pretty silly, specifically that speech one character delivers, which feels unrealistic because a typical CIA operative, regardless of their loyalties, would have just stayed quiet. Despite that, I found it enjoyable, and it occurs to me that Disney—if they control the rights—could create an adult-themed series based on this for Hulu; it seems like something that could work well right now. They might even be able to get Farrell back for a brief appearance. **3.25/5**
