It had a few good parts, but ultimately it didn't resonate with me as much as I’d hoped, particularly because of certain scenes that felt overly contrived—like when the central figure experiences visions of a demonic presence—and Sean Pertee’s portrayal of the religious authority figures was excessively theatrical. That said, I found Charlotte Kirk to be quite good in the starring role, although her appearance throughout the film was consistently impeccable, and some aspects of Neil Marshall's direction were acceptable.
