The Pyramid initially presents an intriguing concept; the beginning suggests it could possibly be worthwhile. However, the film's decline is noticeable as it moves into the second act. What might have been acceptable deteriorates into a disappointing viewing experience due to unconvincing acting and a screenplay that features odd, nonsensical decisions which seem to suck all the vitality from the narrative. The characters behave in ways that don’t ring true, and their emotional responses frequently appear artificial or contradictory. I found myself questioning whether the performers themselves even grasped what emotions their roles were meant to convey. It's difficult to remain engaged when the portrayals lack substance and enthusiasm. The visuals also contribute to the film’s shortcomings—they are chaotic. The camera angles change constantly, but not in a manner that builds suspense or enhances the aesthetic. Rather, it seems the filmmakers were unsure of what they intended to display or how they wanted to present the story. There were moments when I couldn't determine where my attention should be directed, and this absence of guidance made it challenging to relate to anything unfolding on screen. Ultimately, The Pyramid doesn’t live up to expectations. It begins with promise but quickly falters, resulting in a flawed storyline, inconsistent imagery, and performances that don’t resonate.
