A follow-up was clearly destined to happen, and the concept itself held promise. It offered a fresh perspective by focusing on those less fortunate as they endured a terrifying night. The performances weren’t particularly impressive, mirroring the quality of the initial movie's cast—though that earlier film did feature some capable actors. Unfortunately, the attempts at startling the audience fell flat more often than not. The final third felt reminiscent of dystopian narratives found in shows like 'Black Mirror,' movies such as 'Hostel,' and 'The Hunger Games,' exploring societal divides with a satirical edge; however, it was hampered by a lack of compelling dialogue. ★★½
