This movie is just bad. Vanessa Hudgens continues to be good, however 'The Princess Switch: Switched Again' fails in every other aspect. I liked the initial one, but this isn’t as enjoyable. The story is awful; both how it starts and how it plays out are equally poor. The new characters aren't interesting, and what they do with the established ones feels dull. The introduced character is simply irritating, which doesn’t help given how poorly written they are; the same can be said for the stereotypical henchmen alongside them, though I was glad to spot Ricky Norwood as one of those – Fatboy himself. Those who were in the first film return, with the exception of Alexa Adeosun playing Olivia - and that's a shame. I’ll say this isn’t completely awful; I didn’t hate it entirely. I had hoped for something better, but this feels pretty weak. A third installment is already being filmed, and I will probably watch it anyway, but I hope it’s an upgrade from this one.
