The film didn’t live up to expectations given how often it has been talked about throughout the years. I was surprised to discover I hadn’t actually seen it before, because honestly, it wasn’t very good. There were some sets where the lighting shifted constantly, a strange combination of British and American accents could be heard, and the writing and performances felt weak. The characters seemed quite basic, too. It's hard to understand what makes this supposed "family fun." I wouldn’t suggest watching it. Also, since this is a personal review, it shouldn’t show up on the movie's public page—though I can't seem to find any information about that.
