I do have reservations, and I want to offer some criticisms, although despite those feelings, I did find _The Princess and the Frog_ enjoyable. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why, though. The music isn’t something I’ll be revisiting, because typically that’s a major draw for Disney animated films, and there are moments where it feels so predictable—so very much like standard Disney fare—that you can anticipate what’s coming before it even happens, but at least the movie manages to offer some novelty. My final assessment is ★★½ - There was quite a bit I liked about it, but ultimately it didn't fully succeed.
