I felt lost initially because the story was confusing, but then became completely engrossed in watching the complicated conflict between the two lead performers, and finished with a surprising twist—akin to *The Prestige*. It’s definitely one of the most baffling mysteries I've seen lately. What really stood out for me was how the personalities of these young magicians were shown – through subtle things like their expressions, brief comments, books they read, and so on. Even after Cutter explained the movie's title early on, it still leaves me wondering about its significance, and I keep returning to consider what it means, not to mention all the other mysteries presented. Eventually though, I understood that the way the story is put together mirrors a grand magic performance itself.
