I’m definitely a Jeffrey Dean Morgan fan, but this film isn’t very good. *The Postcard Killings* has the potential to be exciting, given its mystery plot which sends characters all over Europe. Sadly, it feels incredibly slow and boring throughout. It's not awful, exactly; it just lacks energy, which really hurts this movie from 2020. Morgan delivers a decent performance, but I was hoping for more—sometimes he seemed like the wrong choice for the role, although I’m not completely certain about that. The other actors are unremarkable, and the only one who stands out besides Morgan is Naomi Battrick; I remember seeing her in some of the early episodes of *Jamestown*, which I also found to be pretty tedious. What it really needed was a faster tempo and more action sequences—without those elements, it’s just disappointing.
