This movie feels very much like a masculine spin on 'A Gift Wrapped Christmas'. As with many holiday films, it blends romance and drama. The central character, known as “Mr. Christmas” because of his talent for selecting perfect gifts, finds himself unexpectedly developing feelings for his friend's girlfriend. Of course, some underlying truths emerge that make things more difficult. The resolution of this love triangle is revealed later on. The plot itself wasn’t particularly remarkable, but the performances were solid. It’s a fairly standard Hallmark Christmas movie—predictable and centered around a romance unfolding against a snowy backdrop. Given what I knew about the story beforehand, I suspected it wouldn't be something I’d love. Even though I didn’t find it very enjoyable, it wasn’t unpleasant either; I didn’t feel bored or frustrated. It takes skill to breathe new life into familiar material and create a watchable film, and they managed to do a reasonably good job with that. This one is geared toward a home audience, and women are likely to appreciate it. So, while I don't have strong feelings about it, I’ll give it an average rating—a true fifty-fifty experience. _5/10_
