Those who found “The Land That Time Forgot” to be low-budget but enjoyable will likely see this installment as even more barebones in its production. It's truly a ridiculous movie featuring Patrick Wayne and Sarah Douglas searching for an explorer, Doug McClure. They locate him, and along with the oddly peculiar Thorley Walters, attempt to evade a tribe of warriors resembling samurai—a group that possesses a strangely unusual musical motif—who intend to offer them as sacrifices. While the other three films in this collection offered some entertainment and a certain style, this one simply presents desolate landscapes and a storyline simple enough for a young child to devise.
