It was an enjoyable film and one I’d happily revisit, and I feel comfortable suggesting it to others. I primarily watched this movie because of Maisie Williams, and she truly elevates the entire experience; her performance is what holds it together. Although the production has a distinctly low-budget aesthetic, it's evident they had sufficient resources considering the chaotic nature of the plot. Many films build tension either slowly or by alternating quiet periods with sudden bursts of action, but this one simply oscillates between extremes without any respite. The overall progression feels steady, yet it’s essentially a drawn-out sequence of calm, then intense conflict, repeatedly occurring throughout. I'd prefer to avoid discussing specific plot points because the film relies heavily on twists and turns, though they reveal the central premise—the homeowners reverse the situation against the intruders—right from the start. The older couple handle the more outlandish moments effectively, but their roles are otherwise limited. If you appreciated "Don’t Breathe," then I think you should check this one out.
