This film, seemingly made by someone just starting out, features a soundtrack so bad that it’s hard to imagine anyone ever enjoying it. The actress known for her role in *Fury Road* sports a short haircut which somehow makes her character even less appealing than if she had lost an arm and was completely bald. Early on, there's a scene where the other characters are wagering on whether she can identify what’s in a pastry she’s eating. It's pointless; it doesn't advance the plot or reveal anything about anyone involved. The dialogue is also pretty empty. There's nothing to explain why these individuals possess Wolverine-like healing abilities. A suggestion for creating more realistic action: if a group of mercenaries are taken down in an ambush and then get back up amidst their attackers, someone will definitely notice. You’d expect quite a bit of graphic violence; instead, what we got was awkward fighting sequences. I can't even bring myself to give it an extra star for its technical aspects; this is truly awful. 12 July 2020 I am moving my reviews from another site that has become unusable.
