This feels like the most padded episode I’ve sat through. It's hard to imagine that anything other than financial considerations justified its length; it stretches out to almost two hours when a much shorter segment could have served the same purpose. They essentially made an entire movie out of what should have been a brief recap. The script requires very little memorization, and the film relies too much on unnecessary action sequences alongside a plot that’s difficult to follow, ultimately ending with a teaser for the next installment in The Old Guard series. There's no sense of suspense or intrigue, just one or two predictable moments, and not much substance overall. Even if you’re paying attention, it won’t hold your interest completely. If you need to understand what’s happening within the show, I suggest waiting for the next film where they might include some background information, reading a plot summary online, or simply watching this one sped up. You'll have freed up a couple of hours that way.
