It was genuinely the best movie theater visit I've ever had. Sadly, I wasn’t able to view it in 70MM IMAX because Houston doesn’t have that option, and traveling to San Antonio just for that wasn’t something I wanted to do. Instead, I saw it in regular IMAX at Regal Lonestar 12, which is close enough to my house—just a few minutes away. While I like Nolan's films, not all of his work has been particularly good. The pacing in this movie is incredible; I was expecting there’d be a lull where I could sneak off for the restroom, but it just kept moving and held my attention completely. I’ve seen all the negative responses to this film from people who are making things up without even seeing it. I live in a less urban area north of Houston, and many of us aren't liberal, nor are we like those loud, extreme individuals you sometimes hear about. Homer’s *Epic* was truly epic. Nolan really surpassed himself with this one.
