I had hoped to enjoy this film given its connection to the Conjuring series, but unfortunately, it fell very short, and my disappointment became clear early on. The movie felt lifeless and tedious, relying heavily on predictable and low-effort jump scares. I’m awarding it a 4 out of 5 rather than a 3 simply because the cinematography was pleasing and the performances were passable.
