I found The Nun enjoyable; it’s a diverting horror film with some striking visuals—the lighting and camera work were well done. However, the shifts between scenes seemed awkward, and the narrative leaned toward fantasy rather than the more realistic feel of The Conjuring or Annabelle. At times, it felt like the plot was simply serving to create a particular image or sequence, which detracted from the experience. While not flawless, I would watch it again. It has something of an Indiana Jones combined with Silent Hill vibe. What’s also commendable is that the actors portraying the characters all seemed fitting and genuine; they didn't feel artificial or poorly cast within their roles or surroundings.
