The premise held promise, but the final product fell short. The script needed more compelling moments; both the suspense and action felt underwhelming. While the leading actors were well-chosen and the film was visually appealing—particularly the settings—the majority of the story unfolded in a single location, with only a brief exception at the beginning. It essentially functioned as a project featuring a very small cast, possessing all the necessary elements for success if the narrative had been handled more skillfully. The plot centers on a CIA operative sent to an isolated station in England after disobeying a superior’s directive. He's tasked with protecting a code operator named Katherine when their facility comes under attack. The film then explores how he navigates this crisis and confronts his own moral principles. It appears John Cusack’s career may be winding down, similar to what has happened with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. It was nice to see him in something smaller-scale like this, so my expectations were already low, which prevented any real disappointment. Still, I felt it could have been stronger overall, as there are many enjoyable B movies available currently. The film is worth watching once, but feels like a streamlined version of 'Wanted'. _5/10_
