I’ve never really cared for Ryan Gosling’s work, but _The Nice Guys_ got surprisingly close to changing my mind. Shane Black's direction is excellent, with something for everyone, great acting, and a remarkable amount of humor—more than I’ve encountered in quite some time. Final rating:★★★½ - It’s definitely worth your while to check it out.
