Ryan Spindell’s first time directing a full-length movie shows off what he's done well in shorter horror projects; this collection of stories focuses on someone starting a job at the Raven's End Mortuary. While the narratives themselves aren't complex, they are beautifully shown with impressive visuals and photography, along with strong performances and a touch of self-awareness that helps them succeed in different ways. The writing doesn’t have the cleverness or memorable phrases you’d find in something like "Creepshow," but it’s still very enjoyable horror entertainment. -- DrNostromo.com
