The movie opens with a disturbing event, and then some time passes—though perhaps not enough for everyone involved. The scenery depicted in the film is truly stunning, but simultaneously unsettling and frightening if you were actually there or became disoriented within it. It’s hard to put into words, but the feeling of the environment is intense and somewhat overpowering. Despite how emotionally difficult the film can be, moments of hope do emerge. It seems like we might be dealing with something ancient, possibly predating time itself, and even those involved don't fully understand what's happening. This is a daring story that should really appeal to people who enjoy Horror Folklore or Mythology; I was completely captivated by it. The ending is incredibly sad, capping off the craziness of this film, and I feel like I need to watch it again right away.
