Regardless, I appreciate the satisfying ending, although it does raise some questions. Here’s my breakdown by section: - **Story**: 9/10 - The story of how Mark Watney survives on Mars is captivating and feels plausible—it's conceivable that this could actually happen if we ever travel to Mars. The premise of him being left behind is also believable, although I do have some reservations about how he managed to survive the night with a wound in his abdomen, considering oxygen was escaping and there’s no atmosphere on Mars, as far as I recall. Additionally, the time skips can be confusing at times, and there were some scenes that felt unnecessary, like certain nude moments, which unfortunately detract from the overall score. - **Characters**: 10/10 - The characters are well-developed, and the acting is excellent; they effectively convey the emotions of each character. We get a sense of their backstories even though there isn't significant character development in the traditional sense.
