This action-comedy proved to be quite enjoyable, managing to incorporate sensitive elements effectively. It's another strong offering from Guy Ritchie. While I haven’t experienced the original 60s television program sharing the same title, that didn’t seem to hinder his approach of depicting tough characters displaying their power. The performances were excellent; the two lead actors dedicated two years to this project, and it clearly made a difference, while Alicia Vikander was ideal in her role. I believe this is among the best movie ensembles I've encountered—a truly potent combination that I’m hoping will continue for at least three films. The narrative unfolds during the 1960s, amidst Cold War tensions between global superpowers. However, instead of showing a direct conflict, the film focuses on them collaborating to confront rebellious factions plotting an attack. It's very funny, highly entertaining, moves quickly, and features impressive action. I didn’t find the plot particularly original; I would describe it as a well-crafted script instead. The movie was generally good, but not exceptional. My slight dissatisfaction arose from some technical aspects, mainly the bike and car chase near the end where the use of greenscreen or bluescreen was obvious. Beyond the central storyline and its clever moments, the film lacked distinguishing qualities. Subtracting half a point places it on the border between good and average, though I certainly consider it to be worthwhile. 6½/10
