They offer a lighter tone compared to the darker action series like James Bond, Mission: Impossible, and Jason Bourne—though I appreciate those as well. The casting felt like a clever nod to the comic book world, bringing together DC’s Superman and Marvel’s Captain America. I've been impressed by Alicia Vikander since her performance in 'A Royal Affair', where she seemed to possess both talent and an undeniable allure, suggesting she would be formidable on an international stage—something that has certainly come to pass, as demonstrated here and in 'Ex Machina'. Despite not having watched the television show, I appreciated the rapport between the actors, and the action sequences were particularly well-executed. Considering how many spy films have been released this year (which is a positive for fans like myself), it's unfortunate that this one didn’t perform better at the box office; still, I personally hope to see more installments. There’s no reason to stop something that works well...
