This film gathers together a cast of well-known actors. The plot centers on a serial killer and the efforts of those trying to track him down. Fans of investigation movies from the nineteen nineties, particularly Seven, will notice parallels with aspects of this movie’s unfolding events. The script originated in the nineties and was initially intended to be directed by Steven Spielberg. I enjoyed watching it, even though some might consider certain sections excessively lengthy and dull, which still managed to hold my attention until the credits rolled. What stood out most for me was Jared Leto's contribution, despite his limited screen time compared to Denzel Washington and Rami Malek. That’s what encouraged me to keep watching. I found the performances of Denzel Washington and Rami Malek disappointing; they didn't come across as investigators. The way they observed Jared Leto suggested a lack of experience, with their methods appearing basic and shallow. There was no logical reason for Jim (Rami Malek) to enter the vehicle with Albert Sparma. Also, there was a complete absence of rapport or chemistry between Denzel Washington and Rami Malek. The film’s visuals successfully evoked the atmosphere of the nineties, but the editing felt subpar.
