The film suffers from some of the poorest editing seen recently, with John Lee Hancock (The Highwaymen) presenting a story reminiscent of Se7en that fails to capture the original’s intrigue or significance. Even though the performers give solid portrayals, the mysterious and suspenseful storyline about a serial killer feels like a familiar reiteration of a concept audiences have encountered countless times. The characters, their connections, and what happens in the plot aren't particularly engaging, which contributes to an impression that the entire movie feels contrived and fairly easy to anticipate. Lacking any element of surprise or fresh ideas, the excessive length becomes increasingly burdensome. It’s a complete misuse of talented performers. Rating: D
